My current project has been the building of a linen press for my wife and for the most part it has gone pretty smooth, so it only made sense that eventually I would hit an obstacle. The problem came with the hardware choice I made. First it ended up not being currently available forcing me to wait for a ridiculous amount of time, and when I finally di get it, it was not what I was hoping for. This took me back to my old faithful when it comes to hardware, Horton Brasses and as always they set me up with exactly what I was looking for. This has lead me to where I am now with the build, the hardware has finally been installed and it all looks good, so now I'm ready to take the whole project apart and start the process of applying the finish. My goal is to have the press done and moved from the shop into my house soon so that I can get started on the next build.
