I built this piece from Cherry using Maple as a secondary wood, and finished it with a amber shellac.
- LINEN PRESS -
When building this piece I had a bunch of Cherry on hand with a lot of sap and with the over all design of this being simple I decided to use this, along with some fancy dovetail work to create a simple piece with a lot of flare. Finishing it with armour seal.
- TRESTLE TABLE -
Constructed of Cherry there really was not a lot that I could do with the design of a piece that has not already been done many different ways, so my focus was on the material allowing the grain and the natural sap of the wood to flow.
- HALL TREE -
Built from solid oak with a lot of different influences going on including Greene and Greene. I dressed it with black hardware and book matched door panels, creating a unique piece.
- SEGMENTED VASE -
- PINE BLANKET CHEST -
I built this piece as a Christmas gift for my Mother one year, she had always wanted a pine blanket chest so with out letting her know I built it. My mother is gone now but but the chest still sits at the end of my Fathers bed.
